Water Route

The building of the new Sewer Treatment Plant was completed in 2002 with funds received through the United States Department of Agriculture. The maintenance and debt service costs are paid for from monthly user fees.

Monthly sewer service charge from July 2023 to June 2024 is $72.55 for a single home (single hook-up inside City limits). This is charged whether the unit is occupied or not.

Sewer

The building of the new Water Treatment Plant was completed in 2004 with funds through the United States Department of Agriculture and the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department. The maintenance and debt service costs are paid for with monthly user fees.

Monthly water service charge from July 2023 to June 2024 is $74.81 for a single home (3/4" line, inside City limits). This is charged whether the unit is occupied or not.

Important Notices

Safety Issues
Please do not allow your children and teens swim or play near City water intake structures, swim in the stream, or allow sitting on the intake pipe. Besides health concerns, the intake has pneumatic and mechanical processes that occur without warning that could seriously harm a swimmer, and/or cause blindness or drowning.

Vandalism
The intake structure, the City water storage buildings and the two water tanks have been the subject of ongoing vandalism and graffiti. Please educate your family and friends to protect our City assets and to keep repair costs at a minimum level.

Water usage charge $1.65 per unit of water (a unit is approximately 750 gallons).
