Kanipe Memorial Park
Established in 1986, this park is located on 5 beautiful acres at the corner of Locust St. and Wells Rd. This park was donated to the City of Oakland by Mildred Kanipe Trust. Walking trails, picnic tables, a small creek and a Disc Golf course await your enjoyment.

Railroad Park
Located at the foot of Locust St on Old Highway 99 (First Street). Stop off, rest, eat lunch and enjoy the view of the historic downtown atmosphere in Oakland, Oregon and all its amenities. A large wood sign tells you about Oakland's history. A great place to catch your breath while cycling, hiking, touring or visiting Oakland.
Stearns Park
Donated to the City of Oakland, Oregon in 1910 by D.W. Stearns, this park is located at the end of Goodman Rd. just off Stearns Ln. Picnic tables, barbecue pits, and portable restrooms are available in this beautiful public park. The park is closed in winter.
