Q. How do I apply for water/sewer services?
A. Visit City Hall at 637 NE Locust St. to fill out an application and pay fees.
Q. How do I cancel service?
A. Visit City Hall or call (541)459-4531
Q. When is my bill due? A. Bills are due by the 15th day of the month in which the bill was posted (per Ordinance 511).
Q. Where can I go to make a payment? A. Visit City Hall during regular business hours or place payment in the payment drop box out front anytime.
Q. How do I pay my bill online? A. Just click on the link or the Utility Account icon on our website menu and enter your billing information (there is a service fee of $3.75 for payment processing).
Q. Can I set up automatic payments? A. The City is not set up for auto pay, however, your financial institution may have bill pay options for you to explore.
Q. Why is my bill so high? A. Part of the answer may be in the Water User Fees or the Sewer User Fees. If you don’t find the answer there, call or stop by City Hall to discuss your bill. Answers to this question may vary.
Q. Is there any way I can lower my water bill?
A. If you aren't conserving water already, we have tips that might help you cut down on your water usage. However, the water & sewer fees are charged monthly, whether the unit is occupied or not.
Q. How many gallons of water is 1 unit? A. 1 unit equals 750 gallons of water (you are currently being charged just $1.65 for each unit).
Q. Is my water safe to drink? How will I know if its not? A. The water that we provide is treated and tested frequently to ensure its safety (see CCR Water Report
). Should the water become unsafe to consume, the City would issue a Boil Water Order, send out Public Notice and post notice on this website.
Q. How do I make a suggestion or file a complaint? A. Call or visit City Hall or go to the Contact page to fill out a form online.
