The Parks Commission meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at Oakland City Hall. The duties of the Park Commission are to devise ways and means for improvement, beautification and maintenance of the City parks, playgrounds, or other recreational facilities located within, or near the City of Oakland. The Parks Commission also oversees the management of the parks and performs Commission duties under the general supervision of the City Council.
